lyrics
You better watch your shadow closely, better watch your back
Better not find yourself lonely, or I will attack
Better keep your guard steady, better stay aware
Because I can make you disappear
Waiting for you in the dead of night. . .
You better keep your head down, better say your prayers
Better hope that your god listens, you better hope he's there
Better not trust anybody, you better hold your breath
You better hope I don't decide to bring your death
Waiting for you in the dead of night. . .
You better not look behind you, better close your eyes
Better beg for me to swiftly end your life
You better beg and plea for mercy, you better call my name
You better bet it makes no difference, you're dead all the same
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
A thunderous return from the post-hardcore stalwarts, whose ranks include members of Converge, Cave In, and High on Fire. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 2, 2023
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
